This manual focus lens features a large f1.4 aperture and is made of 13 elements in 12 groups. The 24mm focus is tailor-made for most of the sensors available on the market today. On full-frame cameras, the lens is a high-quality wide-angle lens perfect for street, landscape and architectural shooting. On DX sensors, the user will get just the perfect lens for journalist and landscape photography. When attached to Four Thirds cameras, the lens will create a universal and bright construction corresponding to a 50mm focus.

Full Frame Wide Angle

The Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Lens gives you a substantial wide angle of view of 84° with full-frame Canon cameras. It can also be used with Canon APS-C cameras to provide a 57.6° angle of view basically equivalent to a 35mm lens on a full frame camera. It works well for landscapes, interiors, street photography and astrophotography.

Its 13 elements in 12 group design utilizes 4 Extra Low-Dispersion (ED) glass elements and 2 Aspherical elements to produce sharply defined images even in low lighting conditions. Focus can be as close as 9.84" for outstanding wide-angle close-up views.

Anti-reflection UMC coating (Ultra Multi Coating) enhances light transmission, increases contrast and reduces flare. The non-rotating 77mm filter mount provides allowseasy use of polarizers and other rotating filter types while the silky-smooth and perfectly-damped long throw action of the focusing ring provides precise focus control.
