Who built Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs pyramid?

This video introduces the article "Who Built Maslow's Pyramid?" by Bridgman, Cummings & Ballard in the journal Academy of Management Learning & Education. Maslow´s pyramid of needs is perhaps the most famous symbol in social science, but Maslow never created a pyramid to represent it. We investigated how it came to be and draw on this analysis to call for a rethink of how Maslow is represented in management studies.
