Sweden Ups the Carbon Game. Could Canada Do Likewise? The Swedish government has decided that the Paris accord doesn't quite cut it. By 2045, the Swedes plan on becoming carbon neutral, an ambition fulfilled by widespread bio-fuel adoption and the progressive elimination of petroleum. But can Canada follow suit? Both countries differ widely in their circumstances yet they are both signatories of the accord and liberal-minded.
