Secrets of the Administrative Assistant A sample of 194 Administrative Assistants from 100 different firms and institutions were used to identify behavioral stances that are not readily visible (i.e., secrets). The Administrative Assistant role is shown to be unique and highly specialized in terms of its approach to work issues. The research uses over 5,000 people in professional roles as well as people in a range of management postions up to and including the CEO to show the distinctive nature of the Administrative Assistant position
