ThermaKin2D is a powerful solver that can calculate the flame spread rate of a multilayered pyrolyzing solid. Because of the command-line interface, ThermaKin2D is currently not used by the majority of its potential audience. This is where the graphical user interface (GUI) is used. A GUI was created for ThermaKin2D for all of it features in 1D, and some features in 2D simulations. The GUI is capable of creating components files containing physical and chemical data. 5MSF
