Turning to the Light

Turning to the Light - In Arabidopsis, light induces the translocation of phytochrome photoreceptors from the cytoplasm to subnuclear compartment called phytochrome nuclear bodies. Watch and listen as Joanne Chory and Meng Chen take you on a brief, personally guided tour of their findings that these bodies are sites where key transcription factors and photoreceptors are proteolyzed to allow the appropriate light response.
