Endophilin beyond Endocytosis Endophilin beyond Endocytosis - Endophilin A1 is known to play a role in the endocytosis of synaptic vesicles. Now, Christian Rosenmund and colleagues find that it contributes to synaptic vesicle exocytosis as well. Through differential binding of VGLUT isoforms, endophilin A1 fine tunes neurotransmitter release probability and short-term plasticity. Read more in et al., Neuron 69(6).
