Meet Eric Chen, the Grand Prize Winner of the Google Science Fair 2013. After the outbreak of the swine flu, Eric researched new methods of developing flu vaccines that can better respond to the fast-changing virus. Using computer tools and biological lab tests, Eric identified and evaluated new chemical compounds that have potential to be developed into vaccines and holds a patent on his findings.
