Specified Neural Progenitors Sort to Form Sharp Domains after Noisy Shh Signaling

Sean Megason and colleagues determine how cells are sorted and spatially organized during development. The authors use live imaging in zebrafish to show that, despite variations in morphogen exposure and duration, cells with similar identities migrate and rearrange themselves into defined domains.
