Sexual Violence against Ethnic Minorities by the Khmer Rouge This short film explains a research project currently undertaken by Cambodian Defenders Project (CDP) on sexual violence committed against ethnic minorities under the Khmer Rouge regime. From 1975-1979, this ultra-communist group attempted to bring about a "socialist revolution". As a result, more than one million people perished. This study intends to shed light on a hidden dimension of the regime. 5MSF
