Sinawe Mama! ("We are with you Mother!") Abigail Hatcher [email protected] Although violence in pregnancy effects one-third of South African women, few programs exist to address it. We are testing a program for reducing violence in antenatal care. The intervention, called Safe & Sound, gives pregnant women access to counseling and referrals from trained Nurses.
