YouTube Science Video Forrest Jacobs, Munyaradzi Choga, Ondrej Krasny, and Rahul Sinhapresent an iPad application that helps children practice their pronunciation. Specifically aimed at children with cleft lip and palate, the software prompts the child to repeat a randomly chosen word, records the pronunciation and performs statistical analysis on the sound wave. Results of the analysis, i.e., if the word was pronounced correctly, are stored in a database and available to the parents and
therapists.
