Sensory Responses in the Dopamine-Depleted Striatum. Ketzef et al. show that striatal sensory responses are altered in Parkinsonian mice. Specifically, the encoding of bilateral tactile inputs is impaired following dopamine depletion and restored by L-DOPA administration.
